Are you looking for a new idea for a weekend lunch time meal, or even perhaps something for snacking on? Then here is an idea that seems to have taken off in this house for an easy Sunday lunch.
Mini Hots Dogs!!
500g mini cheese kransky sausages
18 mini par baked dinner rolls
1 tomato diced finely
2-3 gherkins, diced finely
Bake the dinner rolls in the oven as per the directions on the pack.
Place the kransky sausages in a saucepan full of water, bring to the boil, and boil for 5 minutes, or until heated through.
Once the rolls and kranskys are cooked, cut the rolls in half and place a small amount of diced tomato and gherkin in the bottom of the roll. Top with a sausage, pour over mustard and tomato sauce - and voila!! Little Mini Hot Dogs!!!
You will find the mini cheese kransky sausages in the chilled section of the supermarket along with all the other speciality sausages.
The kitchen here has taken the "long weekend" off in honour of the Queen's birthday! Miss Twinkles on the other hand has been cooking up a storm - they must all be very happy at your place!!! Glad to hear that you are all loving the food!!
